Learn to draw visual symbol of a rooster with number 6 in four easy steps
Google doodle by featured French artist, Helene Leroux, to celebrate the victory of France in the 2018 FIFA World Cup appeared on its home page on July 15.

On the victory of France, Leroux said that it was super exciting and also nice that it was happening 20 years after our first World Cup victory in 1998. The artist hoped the victory would bring French people closer together to share that moment of joy.

The celebration doodle by Leroux depicted the rooster which was the symbol of France and French football; and it was shown running and jumping on a spinning football, which could be associated with the world spinning.

Inspired by the rooster in the doodle, here is my four-step successive drawing the visual code of rooster with number 6.

Proceed step-wise as follows:

1. Draw number 6 with a sketch pen on a paper.

2. Extend the top line of 6 inwards as a loop with a dot inside to show the head and the eye.

3. Show the crown with three bumps, pointed line as beak and a drop-shape as waltel.

4. Make three curved lines to depict the tail and two pointed lines as shank and claws.

Teachers need to learn to draw visual codes that are not real but represent reality in simple line drawing to represent reality. A code has to be learnt as a symbol to imply meaning or for recognition.
