Ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education: Special on International Day of Education
On January 24, the first International Day of Education was observed across the world with emphasis on inclusive and equitable quality education.

It is being held by many educators that inclusive education is implicit of equitable quality education since inclusion implies adjusting education as per the needs of education. Respect for diversity, which is basic premise of inclusion, leads to devising intervention that that every child is able to learn. This implies that teachers have to be reflective and creative to devise ways and means to match children's styles of learning. As Marco Bizzarri puts it rightly, "Diversity and inclusion, which are the real grounds for creativity, must remain at the centre of what we do." Marco Bizzarri

In his posts at Slideshare on 'lalitkishore31', Dr Lalit Kishore through sketch notes and language arts explains the notion of inclusion in education as follows. 

In his post "Notion of inclusive education and a sketch note on paradigm shift toward inclusion" he defines inclusive education as: "Notion of inclusive education and a sketch note on paradigm shift toward inclusion Lalit Kishore Notion Inclusive education pertains to educating all children in age-appropriate general education classes in the same school irrespective of their diversity and wherein children with special needs are presumed to be competent and capable of developing positive social relationships with peers, and are deemed fully accepted and participating members of the school as a community of learners."

In another post titled 'Human function ability inclusion in education: A sketch note and a haiku', he crisply puts the concept of inclusive education as a haiku which goes like this: Enhancing learning / and function-ability / is to educate. It implies that the quality education stands for making learning to happen for all diverse children.

He in yet another post "Inclusion: A sentence acrostic and writings on the wall on inclusive education" describes "INCLUSION" in education as follows.
